‘Indies Crash E3’ is a campaign that has seen success over the past few years in bringing smaller studios to the grand halls of the Los Angeles Convention Center for that all-important videogame showcase, the Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3). This year, Honor Code, Inc. has joined the campaign in the hope of having a presence on the show floor.
The campaign relies on donations in order to reserve a booth space for independent developers. A lot of developers submit their projects to the campaign organisers and the public helps vote on which are selected to attend E3. The public can also submit their own choices via the official Indies Crash E3 website.
“Indies Crash E3 is a movement to make the presence of independent game developers a major part of E3, the world’s largest video game expo,” states the official Indies Crash E3 website. “At the expo the indies will get to make major influential connections in the industry, discuss their games with the 45,000 in attendance, and hold interviews we schedule with gaming news outlets.”
Honor Code, Inc., the studio behind the forthcoming virtual reality (VR) horror title, Narcosis, have submitted their work for consideration as part of the Indies Crash E3 campaign. You can help their effort by offering support on the Narcosis page of the Indies Crash E3 website and VRFocus will keep you updated with any further VR additions to the campaign.
