Julius Horsthuis’ fractal experience From Nothing out now on Oculus VR Share

Over the years many users of computers have enjoyed both creating and viewing fractal experiences. Complex endlessly looping sequences that can occur from a mathematical source and that can also occur in nature. Now, a new addition to Oculus VR Share brings the fractal experience to a whole other level.

‘From Nothing’ is a first – a stereoscopic fractal experience in 360 degrees.  Created by Dutch VFX supervisor Julius Horsthuis, From Nothing brings you twisting and turning into the fractal visual.

With, at the time of writing, a perfect 5.0 rating, From Nothing is out now on Oculus VR Share. It is compatible with the Oculus Rift DK1 and DK2 but also confirmed to work on Samsung’s Gear VR smartphone-based head-mounted display (HMD).  It can also be found listed on WeArVR.com.

Other works from Julius Horsthuis are believed to be coming so keep an eye on VRFocus.  You can of course stay up to date with us socially on Facebook, Twitter and Google+.
