Earlier in the week VRFocus reported on the reveal of a release date for upcoming virtual reality (VR) first-person shooter (FPS) Troopers VR from indie developer Flauchers Finest. The title, which is set to launch on the iOS operating system with support for smartphone-based head-mounted displays (HMDs) such as the ZEISS VR One, will be available on 8th April 2015. Recently the studio has also revealed a new trailer for the videogame, which can now be seen below.
Clocking in at just 36 seconds, the trailer for Troopers VR gives players a quick taste of the title’s brand of action. Players are fixed to one spot and armed with two guns that they must use to fight off waves of invading aliens. As the trailer states, the title is optimised for ZEISS VR One but also supports other HMDs such as Google Cardboard.
A price point for Troopers VR is yet to be revealed. VRFocus will continue to follow the title closely, reporting back with any further updates on it.
