Follow The Call Of The Sea In WhalesPath On Oculus VR Share

As mentioned with Project Pipe the other day, Oculus VR Share is not just a platform for paid products, final products or even demos but also a place to show off how you are learning something new and get feedback on your efforts.

That is the case again today with WhalesPath, a causal experience created by developer Fguillotine over their first two days ‘playing around with the Unity 5’.  The app sees you sitting in an open boat, seemingly cast adrift from boat in the middle distance.  An eerie whistling noise passing over you as you float by a pod of whales and gain the attention of a passing shark.

An update is coming to address some problems found by the developer but if you want to try it out now and give some feedback WhalesPath is confirmed to work with the Oculus Rift DK2 head-mounted display (HMD).

VRFocus will be back with another title from Oculus VR Share tomorrow.
