Last year VRFocus reported on the launch of Eden River, a new virtual reality (VR) relaxation experience, across both the Oculus Rift head-mounted display (HMD) and on the Android operating system (OS) with support for the Google Cardboard HMD. Developer Unello Design offered players a peaceful experience in which they could simply drift down a picturesque river. Today sees the studio launch another restful piece on Google Cardboard, this time titled Zen Zone.
Zen Zone is a new guided meditation experience that provides users with some helpful guided breathing exercises to the backdrop of a peaceful nature environment. Players can take in the sights while calming themselves in the first half, while the developer teases that the second half of the experience teaches them to relax their entire body in a new, innovative way. Unello Design advises using headphones with the app for the best effects. The title can currently be downloaded for £1.61 GBP over on the Google Play Store.
Relaxation experiences are proving popular for VR, allowing players to slip out of hectic every day environments and into far more peaceful surroundings. VRFocus will continue to follow any and all uses of VR, reporting back with the latest updates on them.
