Following the official launch of the international commercial store on Gear VR, acclaimed virtual reality (VR) videogame Dreadhalls is now available to purchase for the mobile head-mounted display (HMD). Dreadhalls became a popular horror experience following the launch of a demo version of the videogame soon after the first iteration of the Oculus Rift (aka DK1) became available, yet it’s the Gear VR that benefits from the first commercial release of the title.
Developed by White Door Games, the Gear VR version of Dreadhalls features new environments, creatures and a story that you will have to piece together as you progress through the dungeon. A brand new gameplay option, Random Map mode, has also been added. In this multiplayer component players will take turns playing single maps, featuring any or all of the videogame’s environments and menaces.
Available to download now via the Oculus Home app on Android devices, Dreadhalls is priced at $4.99 USD on Gear VR. White Door Games assure that the PC version of Dreadhalls, designed for the Oculus Rift, is still in development. VRFocus will keep you updated with all the latest details on Dreadhalls and other forthcoming VR titles from White Door Games.
