Previously VRFocus reported on 360 degree photo sharing platform VRCHIVE. The company’s aim is to become the first platform which allows people to share VR images, whether they are photos or in-game screenshots. The company have announced that it is now available to early adopters.
VRCHIVE is powered by WebGL and will support panoramic spherical images for virtual reality (VR) however users won’t need a head-mounted display (HMD). They can also connect with other VR enthusiasts and view their pictures. Now users can explore this through VRCHIVE’s website.
The site describes the platform as ““content distribution platform that connections 360 degree photographers with VR consumers and empowers anyone to be a VR content creator.”
