RosettaVR Now Available on Oculus VR Share

Newly available on Oculus VR Share is space based title RosettaVR. The title takes players to a large Comet named 67P. The experience is based on the Rosetta mission to land on an asteroid. It is compatible with the Oculus Rift second development kit (DK2) head-mounted display.

Developed by VR enthusiasts Design4Real based in Munich, Germany, the title allows players to watch the satellites mission take place to orbit the comet. The real life inspiration was launched on March 2nd 2004 on the back of the Ariane 5 rocket. The journey took 11 years after travelling a total of 6.4 billion kilometres, arriving on the 6 AUgust 2014. When in Orbit, the Philae Lander was dropped to find out more about comets. Users can experience the mission in a short presentation with information popping up on screen.
