Reload Studios made some waves last year when they announced their intentions to create a multiplayer first-person shooter (FPS) virtual reality (VR) videogame. Comprised of a number of ex-Infinity Ward staff, Reload Studios have today announced their intentions to reveal this debut project at the VRLA Spring Expo, taking place 22nd March 2015, at the Marriott hotel in LA.
“It will be a historic day for the indie developers,” states the official communication from VRLA. “They’ll not only unveil their project’s title but will offer hands on demonstrations of their pre-alpha multiplayer build to expo attendees for a limited engagement on the floor.”
Aside from a teaser trailer revealed late last year very little is known about Reload Studios’ project. The fact that the team are working on multiple head-mounted displays (HMDs) has been discussed, but the formats on which their title will eventually appear have not yet been revealed.
The VRLA Spring Expo will take place at the Marriott hotel in LA later this month. Tickets can now be purchased in addition to a Sphere Subscription membership, which will entitle owners to free VIP passes to all VRLA Expo events as well as invites to members-only dinners and networking events. VRFocus will keep you updated with all the latest details on the VRLA Spring Expo and any further information concerning Reload Studios’ debut project.
