In a very short space of time the number of virtual reality (VR) related talks, conferences and events has increased dramatically. Now VRFocus reports on another event currently seeking speakers for a panel on the possibilities of Social VR and what developments VR could potentially bring.
The event is being held by Digital LA, responsible for a series of weekly panels on the digital sector and who already have a history in hosting events on the subject of virtual reality. As recently as February the organisation held a conference on ‘VR for Movies, Games and Other Worlds’ which featured hands-on opportunities with Oculus Rift and other VR technologies.
Their latest panel entitled ‘Virtual Reality: Social VR’ is set to take place at the ROC Santa Monica on April 30th, and looks set to expand on prior talks with a number of topics including social media use within VR, multiplayer experiences and interacting with the environment.
Parties interested in contributing to the panel should email firstname.lastname@example.org with VR as the subject line and a brief bio for consideration. Those in the area who would be interested in attending can purchase tickets via Eventbrite.
VRFocus will continue to follow the burgeoning virtual reality talk scene and will report back with any further updates or developments.
