VRFocus has previously reported on Aylus: Exiled Dominions launching a new Kickstarter campaign aimed at securing funding for the project. Now the title has launched a new Steam Greenlight campaign. The aim is to get enough up-votes in order to become available on Valve’s digital sharing platform. The virtual reality (VR) role playing game (RPG) aims to release with Oculus Rift head-mounted display (HMD) support.
The videogame is a first or third person adventure in which players are pushed to explore the fantasy world laid out before them. While travelling these landscapes, users may come across creatures which intend to kill the player. If successful in killing the creature, loot will be gained for crafting or for selling. Boasted on the Steam page is its large weapon and armour system featuring a multitude of different weapons and armour.
Users are also able to level up using XP to gain new skills which will make the character stronger. The videogame uses a vigor system which determines health and stamina in one. Fighting will drain it however taking damage will also provide difficulties for the player as you can get winded.
The world also features interactive non playable characters (NPC) which can be interacted with determining how they feel about the player’s character. Houses are also able to be purchased as the player can then live in them by sleeping in the bed.
VRFocus will keep you updated on the latest from Steam Greenlight.
