For the past few weeks VRFocus has provided updates on the upcoming Virtual Reality Los Angeles (VRLA) Spring Expo, taking place on 22nd March 2015 at the Marriott Hotel. A number of high-profile exhibitors have already been announced for the event, including the likes of Crysis developer Crytek and the Google Cardboard smartphone-based head-mounted display (HMD). This week sees the organisation reveal 13 more VR companies, technologies and videogames that will be on display at the show in a few weeks’ time.
Headlining the update is Three One Zero’s ADR1FT, the anticipated first-person VR experience that casts players as an astronaut trying to survive as they find themselves caught in the middle of a spaceship wreck. The title is coming to PC with support for the Oculus Rift HMD as well as Xbox One and PlayStation 4. Innerspace, the indie studio behind Gear VR’s Playhead, will also be coming to the event, presumably with its music experience in tow although it could possibly also showcase a different project.
VRLA’s line-up also now consists of Funktronic, Studio Transcendent, VRation, Flarb, VR Playhouse, ElemenTerra, Emblematic Group, Specular Theory, Impression.PI and Trilogy. Tickets to the event are on sale now through the event’s official website. The Spring Expo is part of a new approach from VRLA to deliver seasonal event. Fans can also buy passes for the events around the year.
VRFocus will continue to follow VRLA closely, reporting back with any further updates on the show.
