VRFocus has reported on virtual reality (VR) horror experience Grave. The highly anticipated title receives occasional updates on Saturdays showing off screenshots for the upcoming videogame. It is due to release for the Oculus Rift head-mounted display (HMD).
Grave puts players in a strange environment in a barren dustbowl area. Dotted around the map are seemingly random locations, like barns and houses. In these locations are items which will help the player survive. Mostly players will look for light sources. The night will hold a very different gameplay experience as strange humanoid creatures will come out and attempt to kill the player. Users must fend them off using light as it will kill the creatures. If players are fortunate enough to survive than they will find the locations are not where they used to be.
The screenshots show some of the environment including a broken down shed which has been reduced to rubble. Also shown is one of the possible spots where users can find different light sources. A key trait of the videogame is showing these spots completely alone. Locations like these are often alone almost as if they are misplaced.
VRFocus will keep you updated as Grave progresses.
