Recently made available on Oculus VR Share is virtual reality (VR) title Teratophobia. The videogame is a horror title in which the player is being stalked through an abandoned building. It is compatible with the second Oculus Rift development kit (DK2) head-mounted display (HMD).
Teratophobia is set inside an abandoned mental facility where time stands still and the horrors inflicted on patients in the past echo through the hospital. Players are tasked with roaming these halls and surviving for as long as possible whilst evading the creature.
The title takes its inspiration from titles such as Slender and Amnesia in which the users is rendered vulnerable with no way to fight back. As players travel through the hospital they will see different rooms all crafted for different forms of experimentation. When looking around users will also hear the noises the creature pursuing the player makes. If the player is caught, they will die.
The title was created at the Finnish Game Jam in under 48 hours VRFocus will continue to keep you updated on the latest Oculus VR Share horror videogames.
