Earlier this week VRFocus reported on the launch of a Steam Greenlight campaign for a new first-person puzzle experience named Retrograde. The title hopes to add support for the Oculus Rift virtual reality (VR) head-mounted display (HMD) to its list of features sometime in the future. Now the first trailer for the title has arrived, and can be seen below.
Retrograde places users in the minds of patients suffering from amnesia, tasking them with helping to restore memories by solving certain gravity-based puzzles. The trailer below showcases these puzzles in action, with the player changing the colour of certain cubes to give them different gravitational pulls. Throughout the journey players are accompanied by a narrator of sorts.
Should it pass its Greenlight campaign then Retrograde hopes to launch in full in summer 2015. It’s not clear if Oculus Rift support will feature in this first release or arrive later. VRFocus will continue to follow Retrograde‘s progress, reporting back with any further updates on the title.
