Slightly Mad Studios recently confirmed another small delay for its anticipated virtual reality (VR) compatible racing title, Project CARS. The title will now be launching on 2nd April 2015 instead of March, but that doesn’t mean the developer isn’t prepared to talk about new features for the experience. As such, the studio has today release a new video looking at Project CARS‘ career mode.
The five minute video, seen below, features commentary from the developers as they walk viewers through one of the most important modes in the title. It touches on the inspirations of the mode, which aims to reflect real driver progression, and talks about rewards and more.
Project CARS will allow players to sample a wide array of motorsports, letting them focus on one specific type if they so choose. The title is headed to PC with support for the Oculus Rift head-mounted display (HMD) but is also coming to PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. The former version even aims to include support for the Project Morpheus HMD in the future. VRFocus will continue to follow the title closely, reporting back with any further updates on it.
