It’s been a busy week for indie developer Namazu Studios and its upcoming virtual reality (VR) compatible videogame, Nebulous. A few days ago the team confirmed that the title, which is set to support the Oculus Rift head-mounted display (HMD) on PC, will also be coming to the PlayStation 4. Furthermore, Nebulous is also planning to appear at this year’s Game Developer Conference (GDC) from 2nd – 6th March. Now a new trailer for the title has arrived, which can be seen below.
There’s almost two minutes worth of footage from Nebulous on offer in this clip. The title sees players trying to guide a falling astronaut into portals by constructing a makeshift path of objects for him to bounce off or, roll along and fall off. As the end of the trailer reveals, the upcoming Oculus Rift support allows for ‘hands-free’ controls, with the player using the HMD’s head-tracking to drag objects into position.
Nebulous will hit PC in the second quarter of 2015, although Oculus Rift support is expected to arrive at a later date. VRFocus will continue to follow Nebulous closely, reporting back with any further updates on its progress.
