Indie developer Namazu Studios is currently hard at work on its upcoming virtual reality (VR) compatible videogame, Nebulous. In the past week the studio has announced that the Oculus Rift head-mounted display (HMD) supported title, which will also be coming to the PlayStation 4, is heading to next month’s Game Developer Conference (GDC) from 2nd – 6th March. Now a range of new screenshots for the title has arrived, which can be seen below.
A total of 12 new images of Nebulous are on offer below. In the videogame players attempt to guide an astronaut into portals by assembling a path out of objects for him to use to get from A to B in an often painful fashion. Oculus Rift support, which will arrive after the initial PC release, will allow for ‘hands-free’ controls, with the player using the HMD’s head-tracking to drag objects into position.
Nebulous is aiming PC in the second quarter of 2015. The PlayStation 4 version will also be arriving after that initial launch, although there’s no word about possible support for the Project Morpheus HMD at this point in time. VRFocus will continue to follow Nebulous closely, reporting back with any further updates on its progress.
