New to Oculus VR Share is racing title Moto-Rider VR. The videogame, developed by Bullardo, involves players racing around the track to defeat an opponent by gaining points. Moto-Rider VR is compatible with the Oculus Rift second development kit (DK2) head-mounted display (HMD).
Using the DK2’s positional tracking as well as an Xbox controller; players can navigate the different obstacles in the bikes path. The title focuses on using the HMD to lean from left to right while trying to collect the points. In the 3 laps around the tracks, the player must have collected the necessary points as well as achieved higher scores for how well they have driven. The player with the higher score wins.
Currently the title available is only a demo, however the full release will feature more content. This includes being able to use the keyboard to control the bike. The full version also promises the ability to add upgrades to the bike to increase the power or handling. Bullardo has set a date for full release after the Game Developers Conference 2015. VRFocus will keep you updated on the latest from Oculus VR Share.
