User experiences aren’t uncommon on Oculus VR Share. The aim for many of them is purely relaxation, however some are intended to be a thrilling experience. No Limits 2 allows users to ride some of the most famous rollercoaster all over the world. The title is compatible with the second iteration of the Oculus Rift development kit (DK2) head-mounted display (HMD).
The title uses realistic physics in order to replicate the sensation and motions of real rollercoasters. Not only are players able to test out their favourite rides but they are able to create their own using a computer aided design (CAD) wire frame display. Using a PC mouse, players can drag and drop pieces of track and supporting structure in order to create the best experience. Focus has also gone into the audio as it features sounds which would be heard on a roller coaster like the wind as well as the metal on metal sounds.
The developer claims that No Limits 2 is so realistic that it is used by roller coaster manufacturers like Vekoma Rides Manufacturing B.V., The Gravity Group, Inc., Great Coasters International, Inc., Premier, Inc., Maurer Söhne GmbH, Intamin A.G. These big manufacturers use the software to pitch, plan the layouts and marketing.
