Those that backed a certain level of the Kickstarter crowd-funding campaign for upcoming virtual reality (VR) compatible videogame, Hover: Revolt of Gamers, are currently enjoying a beta testing phase for the title. Indie developer Fusty Game is using the beta to make some adjustments and test out stability ahead of the experience’s full release later on. Recently the team released on footage of the title, which can be seen below.
This brief clip showcases some of the new NPCs that the developer will be adding into the title in its next update. The new designs, which include a small, RC-like vehicle and two aliens, are being added in order to bring more variety to the sci-fi urban environment in which Hover: Revolt of Gamers is set. Players will race across this area on roller blades, performing tricks and stunts in order to win people over and fight back against a controlling dictatorship.
Hover: Revolt of Gamers will launch on PC with full support for the Oculus Rift head-mounted display (HMD). VRFocus will continue to follow Hover: Revolt of Gamer‘s progress, reporting back with any further updates on the title.
