Previously VRFocus has reported on first person virtual reality (VR) videogame Glitchspace. The title involves players using a mixture of shooter and puzzle based elements. An update released recently, which gave the title Oculus Rift second development kit (DK2) head-mounted display (HMD) support.
Before the Alpha 1.8.1 update the title was only available to use with the first iteration of Oculus Rift (DK1), the new update allows positional tracking with the use of the DK2 HMD. As stated on the Glitchspace Steam page, they also have had some problems with the DK2 on Mac OSX so they are putting out an update which will fix these issues soon. Also, the submit feedback bug has also been patched allowing people to now submit it properly.
Glitchspace puts people in a cyber world with a programming gun. Using this gun, players can fire bits of code at glitches to solve puzzles and allow a way through cyberspace. Manipulating glitches with the code gun, will allow users to find many different ways through the world like stretching and scaling bridges or platforms in order to move through a certain area. Currently the title is available on Steam Early Access for £6.99 GBP.
VRFocus will keep you updated on the progress of Glitchspace.
