Next month’s Game Developers Conference (GDC) will see a number of virtual reality (VR) compatible videogames on display. Included among these is Namazu Studios’ physics based puzzle title Nebulous. The title is set to release with support from Oculus Rift head-mounted display (HMD) on PC.
Those attending GDC will be able to get an early look at Nebulous, the puzzle videogame in booth PL 202. When playing as the astronaut, Commander Dash Johnson gets sucked into a worm hole. It is the job of the player to help people through different obstacles. Using a conveyor belt, gravity alteration devices and platforms the player can guide the astronaut to the end of the level. When all the platforms and devices are set up, users can drop the astronaut and let gravity take its cause. Getting him out safely will move the player onto the next puzzle.
The developers at Namazu Studios have announced that the title will coming to Playstation 4. However it hasn’t been confirmed whether the videogame will come to Sony’ Project Morpheus.
The title is set to be released in the second quarter of 2015 but is also currently on Steam Greenlight to get upvoted in the hopes that it will become available on Valves videogame sharing platform. VRFocus will keep you updated on the progress of Nebulous.
