New to Oculus VR Share is virtual reality (VR) title Flutter Bombs!. The title puts players in the role of a butterfly who must defend its garden from those who would do it harm. The title is only supported by the gamepad and second iteration of Oculus Rift (DK2) head-mounted display (HMD).
What started as a landscape study for a tree house location ended up being populated with critters, thus the title was created. In bringing the environment to life the developer had also created a controllable butterfly character which can fly around and shoot weapons. After the top down iOS and Android versions were created, Earthborn Interactive began turning this into a seek and destroy videogame in which the players would be able fire at the enemy critters.
The main premise of the videogame is to destroy the enemy creatures. To do this players will have to collect nectar from flowers which will act as ammo for the butterfly. Players have two different attacks. One is essentially rapidly firing nectar, the other drops a bomb from above.
The sole developer at Earthborn Interactive plans on adding a multiplayer with different types of gameplay features. VRFocus will keep you updated on the latest Oculus VR Share titles.
