Last week saw indie developer Stellar VR launch a new Kickstarter crowd-funding campaign for Eridanus Wars, a virtual reality (VR) compatible space simulation videogame. The developer hopes to raise £6,000 to develop the title, which will support the Oculus Rift head-mounted display (HMD) on PC. Now a trailer for the experience has arrived and can currently be seen below.
At over two minutes in length, there’s plenty of Eridanus Wars‘ gameplay on show in this clip. The developer does note that it’s all pre-alpha footage, although it still holds impressive sights with enormous capital ships and dwarfing planets looming off in the distance. The title features co-op support in which one player pilots a ship and the other commands its turret.
Should the Kickstarter campaign prove successful then Eridanus Wars looks to launch a Beta version in October 2015. VRFocus will continue to follow the title closely, reporting back with any further updates on it.
