Recently available on Oculus VR Share is the flycam demo of Tigers of Steel. The videogame allows players fight using massive armoured tanks. Its demo will take people through some of the terrain they can fight on. It is available now for Oculus Rift’s virtual reality (VR) head-mounted display (HMD) the development kit 2 (DK2).
The full game is not released, but Tigers of Steel puts players inside a tank and pits you against other tanks. A variety of armoured vehicles are available to the player all with different benefits. These will include infantry fighting vehicles (IFVs), heavy tanks and anti air (AA) units. The full title will also feature a destruction system which will allow players to blow up buildings as they please.
The flycam demo will take the player through some of the environments which are expected to be complete with buildings and foliage. Areas include urban, which are reminiscent of Tokyo shibuya, European style downtown and even an industrial area. There are also to be natural environments like the Iraqi deserts and German lawns. Although it is stated that some of these environments are not completed so the demo will take you through some of the detailed urban areas.
