Last week saw the release of the full version of indie developer Duelboot Games’ Verde Station on Steam. Having only been revealed in July 2014, the title has made it through a Steam Greenlight campaign and Early Access phase and into release in the space of less than half a year. That said, confirmed virtual reality (VR) support is yet to arrive as it remains in testing. Those waiting on the VR version of the title before jumping on board can now enjoy a new release trailer while they wait.
The trailer, seen below, consists of a two-minute look at Verde Station‘s space station environment, separated by quotes from players that have enjoyed the title during its Early Access phase. Verde Station is a first-person experience that follows a protagonist as he undergoes a year-long mission to take care of this station, eventually beginning to question his own sanity.
Duelboot Games hopes to add in support for the Oculus Rift head-mounted display (HMD) in the near future. VRFocus will continue to follow Verde Station, reporting back with any further updates on its progress.
