A brand new virtual reality (VR) title has today been announced, coming to multiple formats in 2015. Shane Warne’s King of Spin will offer the player the chance to become a batsman and face Shane Warne’s trademark deliveries including the Flipper, Zooter and many more on the hallowed turf of the Melbourne Cricket Ground.
Shane Warne’s King of Spin will first make it’s debut at the National Sports Museum located within The Melbourne Cricket Ground during the 2015 ICC World Cup, and later make it’s way to PC, Mac and console formats in 2015. No specific console support has yet been announced, but given that the PlayStation 4 will surely receive Project Morpheus within the year and rumours are surrounding a VR head-mounted display (HMD) coming from Microsoft, it’s likely that lack of information is due to the intended support for all major VR systems.
The first screenshots taken from Shane Warne’s King of Spin appear below and VRFocus will keep you updated with all the latest details on the forthcoming videogame release.
