It’s been a big week for indie developer Innerspace VR. The team has become one of the first studios to make it onto Samsung’s Gear VR smartphone-based virtual reality (VR) head-mounted display (HMD) with the release of Playhead. The music-based experience is available as of this week for free. For those that have yet to pick it up, the developer has released a set of new screenshots that can now be seen below.
A total of five new images can be seen, showcasing how Playhead combines music and world creating for a unique experience. Players completely change songs, stripping them down to individual notes and rebuilding them however they like. As changes are made to the music a visual landscape is also remixed. The developer plans to support the release with additional songs further down the line.
Innerspace VR is also expected to launch The Cave on Gear VR in the future. VRFocus will continue to follow both projects, reporting back with any further updates on its progress.
