Gamer Network has today revealed the first batch of titles set to be showcased at next year’s EGX Rezzed event, taking place 12th – 14th March 2015, London. The first virtual reality (VR) title confirmed to be on show is none other than Fireproof Games’ Omega Agent, currently in development for Gear VR and also coming to PC for Oculus Rift.
Omega Agent was originally announced as an exclusive title for Samsung’s Gear VR, however Fireproof Games have since revealed their intentions to also bring the title to PC in the future to VRFocus. Set on a remote island training facility for cold-war spies, the player mounts a nuclear-powered jetpack and flies around a city filled taking on opponent agents, collecting power-ups as they attempt to bring down their enemies.
Fireproof Games’ first VR title made it’s debut at Samsung’s Unpacked event in Berlin back in August of this year. VRFocus had some hands-on time with the videogame at that event and you can read our Omega Agent preview here.
Other highlights set for next year’s EGX Rezzed include a developer session from Valve Corporation’s Chet Faliszek and the public debut of Afro Samurai 2: Revenge of Kuma for console formats. EGX Rezzed 2015 will take place on 12th – 14th March 2015, at London’s Tobacco Dock. VRFocus will keep you updated with any further VR additions to the line-up.
