Earlier in the week VRFocus reported on the reveal of the first footage for upcoming virtual reality (VR) compatible content creation videogame, VRMT. Indie developer Defective Studios revealed the footage along with news that a playable version of the title will be releasing in the near future. Now the first images of the experience have been released, which can be seen below.
Unlike the video, the eight screenshots seen here are all presented as they appear when used with the Oculus Rift head-mounted display (HMD). They showcase a number of the title’s features, including its unique bracelet, which is used to select objects and options by the player pointing at it using the Razer Hydra motion controller. This allows players to edit their own environments with props.
One image even shows the system being used with Defective Studios’ other VR title, CosmoKnots. The developer plans to release this integration as a level editor for other players to use within the title. VRFocus will continue to follow VRMT, reporting back with any further updates on its progress.
