The 2014 Samsung Developer Conference is drawing to a close, although there are still a handful of virtual reality (VR) related sessions to liveblog. Up next at 16:00 PST is ‘Creating a playable VR environment with Unity and Samsung Gear VR’ featuring unity’s Mark Schoennagel. You can catch the coverage below.
“This live product demonstration will focus on creating a 3D Virtual Reality (VR) project using the popular Unity game development platform and the new Samsung Gear VR hardware,” the session’s description reads. “During the presentation, Senior Unity Evangelist Mark Schoennagel will not only show the integration of the VR plugin for Unity but will also focus on some of the do’s and don’ts when creating a VR game. This session is meant for the beginner to intermediate game developer, with no previous Unity or VR knowledge needed.”
One last VR session remains for SDC 2014. VRFocus will be there to cover it.
