Radial-G Gets New Screenshots as Steam Page Goes Live

It isn’t long now until fans of the anticipated virtual reality (VR) sci-fi racing title Radial-G will be able to get their hands on it. Indie developer Tammeka Games is set to launch an Early Access version of the Oculus Rift compatible videogame on 11th December 2014, with the first full version expected to hit shortly thereafter. This week the Steam page for the title has officially opened. To celebrate, Tammeka Games has released a new batch of screenshots, which can now be seen below.

A total of nine new images of Radial-G can be seen. Each one is taken from the cockpit view, giving fans a glimpse of the new environments that they can expect to race across in the upcoming releases. The title features tube-like tracks in which players can defy gravity, driving on any part of the course. As some images show, this concept is given a twist with tracks that branch out into multiple paths while others show boost pads and slow down gates that can dramatically affect laptimes for better or worse.

This pre-release version of Radial-G will feature a brand new environment set around a derelict asteroid mining station in deep space. Three new courses will feature as will 16-player multiplayer modes and more. The full version of the title will include many more tracks and 32-player online modes. VRFocus will continue to follow Radial-G, reporting back with any further updates on it.
