After a long journey, it’s nearly time for Tammeka Games to launch the pre-release version of its upcoming sci-fi racing videogame, Radial-G, on Steam’s Early Access system. The virtual reality (VR) compatible title will be arriving on 11th December 2014 with full support for the Oculus Rift head-mounted display (HMD). Now the developer has released a trailer for the Early Access release online, which can be seen below.
Clocking in at a minute and 40 seconds, the trailer gives fans a brief glimpse of some of Radial-G‘s new features, including a first look at some of vehicles and environments not seen in the current demo for the title. All of this is mixed in with a generous helping of gameplay footage, showcasing the title’s unique brand of futuristic racing.
Tammeka Games hopes to have Radial-G in Early Access for a short period of time before moving onto the full version with many more features. From there, the developer plans to keep adding to the title as well as bringing it to Mac, Linux and PlayStation 4 with support for the Project Morpheus HMD in the future. VRFocus will continue to follow Radial-G, reporting back with any further updates.
