Tonight sees virtual reality (VR) developers and enthusiasts gather under one roof once more for another VR in a Bar event at the Scenario Bar in London, UK. Kicking off at 19:30 GMT, attendees will be able to get their hands on some of the latest VR titles on head-mounted displays (HMD) such as the Oculus Rift, Gear VR and Durovis Dive as well as chat with developers to find out more about the technology. Now the full line-up for VR in a Bar has been revealed.
As already reported, the event will give fans a chance to sample upcoming VR space simulation title Elite: Dangerous ahead of its full launch on 16th December 2014. Joining it is Gunner, the Gear VR shooter from nDreams that can be controlled through head movements alone. This is one of two projects that the developer has planned for Gear VR, the other being Perfect Beach, although it appears that this won’t be at the event.
Also appearing is Crystal Rift, the first-person dungeon crawling experience from indie developers Nick Pittom and John Hibbins that’s currently running a Kickstarter crowd-funding campaign. Finally, Triangular Pixels’ Smash Hit Plunder will also be there. The title, which tasks players with destroying objects in order to gather loot as quickly as possible, will be showcasing the second screen concept for Gear VR that it revealed last week.
Tickets to the meetup are currently going for free over on an EventBrite page. The event is in the usual place at the Scenario Bar at 97 Stoke Newington Road, N16 8BX, London. VRFocus will continue to follow any and all VR-releated events, reporting back with all of the latest updates.
