Earlier in the week indie developer Broken Window Studios finally confirmed that it would be bringing its upcoming virtual reality (VR) compatible videogame Grave to the PlayStation 4 alongside the PC and Xbox One. The developer had originally hoped to secure support for the console in a Kickstarter campaign, though fell just short of the necessary stretch goal. Now a new trailer for Grave has released, which can be seen below.
Clocking in at over two minutes in length, this is actually one of the most complete looks at Grave yet seen, starting off by showcasing its first-person exploration-based gameplay during the day. Things soon turn more sinister, however, as the night brings horrific monsters which the player must fend off using light-based weapons. The trailer is suitably atmospheric, promising something of a haunting experience.
Grave is due to release in early 2015. On PC, Mac and Linux the title features full support for the Oculus Rift head-mounted display (HMD). It’s not yet been confirmed if Project Morpheus HMD support will feature in the PlayStation 4 version. VRFocus will continue to follow Grave, reporting back with all of the latest updates on it.
