Earlier in the week VRFocus reported on the reveal of a brand new virtual reality (VR) compatible horror videogame named Danger from indie developer Wytek. The studio recently launched a Steam Greenlight campaign for this first-person title, hoping to secure enough positive votes from the community to be approved for full sale on Valve’s digital PC store in 2015. Now the first screenshots from the experience have arrived, and can be seen below.
The images showcase Ocean, the mental hospital in which Danger is set. Players are cast as a novice detective that is sent to investigate a series of murders that have taken place within the hospital, although soon find themselves subject to a range of terrors as they explore its bloody corridors. Interestingly one image teases an environment much different from the rest, set inside what looks to be some sort of interview room. What could this be hinting at?
Danger doesn’t have a specific release date past a 2015 window, although will be launching with full support for the Oculus Rift head-mounted display (HMD). VRFocus will continue to follow the title’s progress moving forward, reporting back with any further updates on it.
