Late last week indie developer Krillbite Studio issued a release date for its first downloadable content (DLC) pack for the virtual reality (VR) compatible horror title, Among the Sleep. The content, which will be free, will go live on 5th November 2014 for all those that own the title. Now a new trailer for the expansion has arrived, and can be seen below.
The minute-long clip teases what’s to come by sharing some of the remarks made about the original title before showing off some of the snowy environments that look to be introduced in the release. As the end of the trailer reveals, players will still be controlling the two-year old protagonist seen in the original version of the title, who initially set out to investigate strange noises in the middle of the night.
Along with this free DLC Among the Sleep is also planning to launch on PlayStation 4 with support for the Project Morpheus head-mounted display (HMD). The PC version of the title already supports the Oculus Rift HMD, although it’s not clear if the console version will be releasing before Project Morpheus itself. VRFocus will continue to follow Among the Sleep, reporting back with any further updates on it.
