Earlier in the month VRFocus reported on the launch of an IndieGoGo crowd-funding campaign for a unique new virtual reality (VR) experience named PHOBOS. Developer PsyTech LLC is lookign to raise $25,000 USD for the experience, which simulates certain scenarios to help users confront common phobias. The campaign was recently updated with a brand new batch of screenshots, which can now be seen below.
A total of 17 new images from the title can be seen below, providing an insight in to just what types of scenarios will be available and how users might tackle their phobias. A shot inside a tight corridor, for example, looks to combat claustrophobia, while other issues such as fear of heights also seem to be addressed.
Those interested in PHOBOS can currently pledge $45 to secure access to the full version at its expected launch in December 2014. VRFocus will continue to follow the experiences’ progress, reporting back with any further updates.
