Indie developer Tammeka Games is currently moving towards releasing an Early Access version of its upcoming virtual reality (VR) compatible sci-fi racer Radial-G ahead of its full launch later in 2014. Over the course of the past few weeks the team has been sharing some of its progress in the form of some new screenshots. Those images can now be seen below.
Two images showcasing what Tammeka Games describes as Radial-G‘s first environment can be seen below. They reveal a space area littered with asteroids and more. Interestingly Radial-G‘s tube tracks, which grant players a full 360 degrees of control, can’t be seen in either images. The demo for the title, which was recently updated, is set within an urban environment, suggesting that the full title will feature a wide variety of areas.
Radial-G is set to arrive on PC with full support for the Oculus Rift head-mounted display (HMD). The developer hopes to bring the title to other platforms in the future, although is yet to reveal any concrete details. VRFocus will continue to follow Radial-G going forward, reporting back with any further updates on the title’s progress.
