This week has seen the launch of a new Kickstarter crowd-funding campaign for an upcoming virtual reality (VR) compatible videogame named Medusa’s Labyrinth. Indie developer Guru Games is looking to raise kr2,500,000 SEK to fund development of the title, which features full support for the Oculus Rift. As part of its push for funding, the developer has released new screenshots of the experience, which can now be seen below.
As can be seen in the images, Medusa’s Labyrinth is a first-person horror experience in which players explore Temple Island, set in ancient Greece. Players will face mythical monsters using weapons such as a bow and arrow. The title is said to have the atmosphere comparable to the likes of Amnesia: Dark Descent.
Those interested in Medusa’s Labyrinth can currently pledge kr110 to secure a digital copy of the title when it is released in March 2016. VRFocus will continue to follow the title, reporting back with any further updates on its development.
