Indie developer Untold Games has been hard at work on its upcoming virtual reality (VR) compatible adventure videogame Loading Human since it passed a Kickstarter crowd-funding campaign earlier in 2014. The developer now keeps fans in the loop by issuing bi-weekly updates on its Kickstarter campaign page, letting them know how development is progressing as the team moves towards launch. Recently the studio revealed its upcoming event schedule, revealing where Loading Human will be on display over the coming weeks.
The developer posted the schedule along with reassurance that its work hadn’t been damaged by the recent floods in Genova, although the team itself is helping with the situation. Loading Human will be on display at the Milan Games Week in Milan, Italy this weekend from 24th – 26th October. Following that the title will make an appearance at Game Connection Europe in Paris, France from 29th – 31st October. Finally, fans can catch it on 2nd November at Lucca Comics and Games in Lucca, Italy.
There are plenty of chances for fans to get their hands on the title in the near future, then. Loading Human is a first-person adventure videogame in which players control Prometheus, the son of a famous scientist, tasked with locating an immense energy source that could save his father’s life. As players progress through the title they will experience random flashbacks from Prometheus’ life as they solve puzzles and interactive with objects in realistic ways using motion controllers.
Recently Untold Games teased that Loading Human will support the PlayStation Move motion controller should the title come to PlayStation 4 with Project Morpheus head-mounted display (HMD) support. For now, the title is only completely confirmed for PC with Oculus Rift support, and is expected to launch in February 2015. VRFocus will continue to follow the title’s progress, reporting back with any further updates on it.
