As anyone following the virtual reality (VR) scene knows, Kickstarter crowd-funding campaigns can be hit or miss. Unfortunately for Ariel Arias, the indie developer behind upcoming VR compatible horror title The Hum, his run at a campaign ended up in the latter category. Arias hasn’t been put off of what is clearly a life-long dream, however, and continues to work on the title. VRFocus recently spoke to the developer on his progress.
In the interview below Arias discusses everything from The Hum‘s origins dating back to his childhood to the enemy variety players can expect. The title is due for release on PC with support for the Oculus Rift head-mounted display (HMD), with a PlayStation 4 version with Project Morpheus support also planned.
VRFocus will continue to follow The Hum in the future, reporting back with any further updates.
