Following it’s reveal at Samsung Unpacked in Berlin back in August, the Gear VR has frequently been a hot topic for the virtual reality (VR) community. With a release date expected in the very near future a number of titles are being confirmed as available for launch; following E McNeill’s Darknet are two titles from UK studio nDreams: Gunner and Perfect Beach.
nDreams have often stated their commitment to VR, having become a studio dedicated to delivering videogames with high production values designed specifically to take advantage of the new hardware. The company revealed their AAA project, The Assembly, for the PlayStation 4’s Project Morpheus and Oculus Rift on PC at the Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) in Los Angeles, June 2014, and following that both Gunner and Perfect Beach were announced alongside the Gear VR itself. Now the studio has confirmed that both titles will be available day-and-date with the Gear VR hardware.
In a tweet this morning, Patrick O’Luanaigh, nDreams CEO, stated: “So impressed with the team – Gunner and Perfect Beach are looking incredible with lots of polish/new additions. Ready for #GearVR launch.”
