Much talk has been made of using virtual reality (VR) for relaxing applications. A handful of developers have already created simple experiences in which players can enjoy peaceful environments without worrying about completing objectives or other aspects. Now The Assembly developer nDreams is creating its own meditative VR experience in Perfect Beach, which was revealed for Samsung’s Gear VR smartphone-based head-mounted display (HMD) last week. Now the title’s first screenshots have arrived.
The first three images of Perfect Beach can be seen below. In the experience users simply sit on a beach and enjoy the picturesque surroundings as the sun starts to set. The screenshots provide a good look at the title’s environment, which will be running on Samsung’s Galaxy Note 4 smartphone when it launches. That means that players will get to enjoy this peaceful setting with a Quad HD display.
Perfect Beach is aiming to release later this year on Gear VR, which itself is expected to hit in mid-October 2014. VRFocus will continue to follow both the project and the device, reporting back on any further updates.
