Earlier in the month indie developer Scott Games launched its a Steam Greenlight campaign for an upcoming virtual realit (VR) compatible sci-fi racing title by the name of Chaos Ride. The developer hopes to secure enough positive votes to have the videogame approved for sale on Valve’s digital PC store come full launch, which will feature full support for the Oculus Rift head-mounted display. Now the first trailer for the title can be seen below.
Clocking in at just under a minute and a half, the first trailer for Chaos Ride provides a cinematic of the title’s brand of high-speed action. Players race inside tube-like courses strung along various landscapes. As they race, a first-person cockpit view allows players a glimpse of their position, speed and more via an on board screen. The title will feature a range of modes including both single and multiplayer options.
It’s not yet clear when Chaos Ride might launch. VRFocus will continue to follow the title going forward, reporting back with any further updates on its development.
