Upcoming virtual reality (VR) compatible horror title Albino Lullaby is currently running a Kickstarter crowd-funding campaign looking for $25,000 USD. Indie developer Ape Law is hoping to use the funds raised to help market the title, including bringing it to industry events for public and press to experience. However the team has confirmed that it will be attending one such event ahead of reaching its Kickstart base goal. Albino Lullaby will be at the upcoming Boston Festival of Indie Games on 13th September 2014.
That gives the crowd-funding campaign one final week of funding following the showcase, ending on 21st September. Attendees will haver the chance to sample the title’s first-person horror title for themselves, running on an Aurora gaming PC. It’s not yet clear if the title will be playable with the Oculus Rift VR head-mounted display (HMD) at the event, as it will be with the full release later on.
Albino Lullaby is a horror experience that depends on surreal events instead of violence, with the player’s actions often having unpredictable ramifications. Should its Kickstarter campaign prove successful then Ape Law will deliver the experience across three seperate episodes with the first due to arrive in Winter 2015. Those interested can currently back $10 to secure a digital copy of the first episode. VRFocus will continue to follow the title going forward, reporting back with any more updates on its progress.
