The goal was passed over the weekend, with three days now remaining until the campaign’s 8th August 2014 closure. A stretch goal for support for the Oculus Rift virtual reality (VR) head-mounted display (HMD) is yet to be reached.

Subject 13 casts players as Franklin Fargo, a physics professor mourning the loss of his fiancée. One day Fargo awakens to find himself trapped in an underground facility, with a mysterious voice referring to him as Subject 13. From there, players will have to solve a range of puzzles to unravel more of the plot and escape the facility. The developer recently told VRFocus that it had discussed bringing the title to consoles in the future, as well as talking about the potential VR support.
Subject 13‘s Oculus Rift stretch goal is set at $60,000, giving VR enthusiasts a small amount of time to raise around $20,000. Can the project secure the necessary amount of funding in time? VRFocus will continue to follow Subject 13 going forward, reporting back with any further updates.
