Console versions of the title on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Wii U are also possible.

Albino Lullaby is described as a ‘first-person horror adventure game set in a dark and fun subterranean world’ with a mix of styles from the likes of celebrated director Tim Burton and Double Fine’s Time Schafer. The title strays away from using gore to scare players and focuses on psychological aspects. This involves an unpredictable environment that can change completely based on a simple button press.

As players explore the surreal environment they will uncover clues as to how they arrived there and why. Enemies will feature, though little there is currently little information about who they are and how they’ll attack, with the developers stating that they want to start players with ‘a clean slate’. The title is described as being built from the ground up with Oculus Rift compatibility, meaning support hasn’t simply been added during the process of development.

Albino Lullaby will be released episodically, with the first episode hoping to launch in December 2014. Those interested can pledge $10 to gain access to that first episode as well as a playable demo when the campaign ends.  A season pass for every episode Is also available via the title’s official website. A total of three episodes are planned, with the others due to arrive in 2015 at unconfirmed dates. VRFocus will continue to follow Albino Lullaby going forward, reporting back with any further updates on its development.
