Last week saw the launch of a new Kickstarter campaign for the upcoming virtual reality (VR) compatible horror videogame, Albino Lullaby. The campaign is hoping to raise $25,000 USD to fund the marketing of the title, allowing developer Ape Law to attend industry events and more. Now a new trailer for the title has arrived in support of that campaign, and can be seen directly below.
The trailer comes in at just over a minute, featuring plenty of footage from first-person title. Albino Lullaby is designed to be a frightening experience that doesn’t employ the use of gore, rather using psychological effects such regularly changing the landscape that players are exploring to scare players. The footage shows the tactic in action as well as providing a glimpse of the title’s horrific enemies.
Should Albino Lullaby‘s campaign campaign prove successful then the title will launch episodically on PC with full support for the Oculus Rift VR head-mounted display (HMD). The title’s first episode is set to launch in Winter 2015. Console versions are also a possibility. VRFocus will continue to follow the title’s progress going forward, reporting back with any further updates.
